Francis Yaw Boamah is the Senior Pastor of Legon Interdenominational Church(LIC). He graduated from the University of Ghana in 1981 with a B.A (Hons) in Economics and Sociology, and also holds an M. A. (with Distinction) in Theology and Mission from the Akrofi-Christaller Institute of Theology, Mission & Culture, Akropong-Akuapem. He has been trained in Expository Preaching at the world-famous Proclamation Trust (Cornhill Training Course) in London.

His ministry exposure includes 18 years in student (campus) work, first with The Navigators and then Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES) where he became the General Secretary. Before he became the Church Administrator at LIC, he worked briefly as the Vice-President (Institutional Advancement) of Ghana Christian University College, Amrahia.

He has a passion for the youth and for preaching and teaching. Yaw is devoted to his family, his extended family and his wider church family – believers – and counts it a rare privilege to be able to spend this phase of his ministry life as a Pastor/Teacher. He is also currently the director for Relite Africa, a Christian Institute with the aim to equip those who are called to preach and teach to be effective. He has also authored a book titled “Before You Say I Do”.

Yaw is married to Serena and they have two children, Debbie and Kofi.
