LIC has a vibrant Children’s Ministry. The Sunday School here caters for children between the ages of 0 and 14 years. Meeting times are during Sunday Bible Study time from 8am-9am and during the sermon at the Sunday main service. Click here for more information.
Children beyond the age of 14 are encouraged to be part of our Youth Fellowship which meets on Sundays from 4pm until 6pm for activities such as bible study, talks, prayer meetings, open forums, outreaches, food and games.
LIC is a family with a variety of gifts, talents, interests and much more. You don’t have to do life alone. We provide space to grow in faith, make real friendships, ask honest questions, and live out your purpose together. Whether you’re brand new or already walking with Jesus — you belong here.
You may have been born into a Christian family, or may go to church regularly; you may even have been worshiping at LIC for a very long time; you may try to be a good person etc., but the Bible says none of these can restore your relationship with God and ensure you entry into heaven.
Nicodemus was a religious leader – a Pharisee, but Jesus said he needed a spiritual rebirth or regeneration to enter the kingdom of God (John 3:1-7). The fact that he was a religious leader did not give him the passport to enter heaven. You may even say, “I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour” or “I am born again”. We believe that it is even more important to understand and personally own these terms than just say them.
A Review of God’s Salvation Agenda.
God created us in His image and desires fellowship with us (Genesis 1:26-28).
In the Garden of Eden, man fell from glory, and since God is pure and holy, and cannot dwell in the same place with sin, He had to put Adam and Eve out of the garden (Genesis 3:21-24). Notice that even then, He lovingly created clothes for them from a symbolic first blood sacrifice.
God loves us, and desires a loving relationship with us, but we cannot enjoy this love because sin has separated us from Him. (Romans 3:23; 1st John 1:8-9; James 2:10).
Throughout history (Old Testament era), God used various means to reconcile man to Himself (Hosea 14).
God’s standards were high (rules, guidelines, statutes etc), and man fell short of God’s glory over and over again (Isaiah 64:6, Romans 6:23).
God sent His own Son as the ultimate sacrifice to reconcile us to Him. Since we have no righteousness of our own, our acceptance of His Son imputes the righteousness of the Son onto us, and we can be reconciled (Romans 5:6-11).
God’s free gift to all is eternal life (Romans 6:23b; John 3:3; John 3:7).
All who receive Christ genuinely are born again (John 1:12-13; John 3:16; Romans 10:9; Acts 16:30-31).
Being born again is just the first step of a lifelong journey of a love relationship with Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, I come to You admitting that I am a sinner. Right now, I choose to turn away from sin, and I ask You to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I believe in you, Jesus Christ, that you died on the cross to take away my sins and that You rose again from the dead so that I might be forgiven of my sins and made righteous through faith in You. I call upon Your name to be the Savior and Lord of my life. Jesus, I choose to follow You and ask that You fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit. I declare that right now I am a child of God. I am free from sin and full of the righteousness of God.
Thank Jesus for saving me. Amen!

How to become a member Steps:
1. Pick up a Membership Form from the Church Office or fill the electronic copy online.
2. You will be scheduled for an Interaction with a member of the Council of Elders (COE)
3. You will be recommended to begin a Follow-up session, after which, you go through Orientation OR
You will be recommended to start Orientation without a follow-up session.
4. You will take the 5 Lessons of our Evangelistic Bible Study
5. You are to join a Ministry, Area Fellowship and Bible Study group
6. You will be introduced to the Church and given a membership card
