Here are some steps that the Council of Elders (COE) has taken as part of LIC’s preparedness plan, to deal with the Coronavirus crisis.
- The appointment of a coordinator of our COVID-19 preparedness activities is Dr (Mrs) Joycelyn Dame.
- The designation of a room as a Holding Bay.
- The training of health worker volunteers on how to handle any suspected cases. Some orientation has also been given to the ushers, caretakers, some children’s ministry members.
- The sharing of verified and factual information about measures to contain the COVID-19 disease to educate church members.
- Keeping members informed about any decisions that affect our gathering together in corporate worship.
