Project Description

Overview

The Youth Ministry has the mandate to oversee the spiritual growth of young church members between the ages of 14 to 35 years. It has three sub-ministries:

Youth Fellowship (YF): This sub-ministry oversees the spiritual growth of members from ages 14 to 25 years by spurring members up in the Christian disciplines of bible study, scripture memorization, prayer, fellowship and evangelism “until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature (Ephesians 4:13).”

Young Adults Fellowship (YAF): This sub-ministry oversees the spiritual growth of members from ages 24 to 35 years via interactive and stimulating Christian programs. The programs vary and they include bible studies, prayer meetings, evangelism, and seminars on career, finance and relationships which are all tailored to suit the needs of the 21st century Christian young adult.

Shepherding Sub-ministry: Through the ‘Sheep-Shepherd program’, the Shepherding sub-ministry seeks to support the work of the other two sub-ministries by providing personalized and godly advice and/or guidance to members in the various aspects of life (i.e. education, career, health, personal development, social and intimacy with God) through the building of relationships – pairing a more mature and older person with a less mature and younger person.
